I work as an Administrative Assistant and Purchasing-in-charge at an Engineering Consultancy. I work in an 8-hour shift that starts at 08:00 in the morning. The first things I do are wipe my table, y cellular phones, reply to messages from emails of my co-workers and sweep the floor after doing paper works. I do tasks that have specific deadlines such as papers that need to be signed by our President then forward it to the accounting. I also carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, and printing, generating reports using computers, reordering supplies,
answer and connect calls to appropriate departments, produce and distribute correspondence, memoranda, letters, faxes and forms, provide information by answering questions and requests, prepare and monitor invoices, greet and assist visitors, canvass and purchase items like printer, inks, desktops, office supplies, and other things that are need at the office. Every month, I make a report for my purchasing monitoring sheet, clear out I purchased. There are times that I am on a working lunch doing errands or buying lunch for my Boss at the mall nearby at the office.
