Introduction

I am a graduate of Strathmore Law School and I have done my internship at Shapley Barret & Co Advocates. There, I was able to be in a fast paced environment which makes me confident that I can work in a similar environment.
I have also had two years experience working as a personal assistant for a CEO of an organic skincare company based here in Kenya. The environment was fast paced as well and thrived in it mostly because I am also passionate about organic skincare. Through this job I have coordinated with brands like Chandarana Food Plus, China Square ,Greenspoon and Adamji Multi Suppliers Limited.
During my time there I had many roles that included keeping up with schedules and maintaining them. I booked flights and appointments where need be. I arranged meetings and took minutes of them. I also alerted people on upcoming meetings via email and Google Calendar. I replied to emails and all correspondence when needed. I arranged various documents ranging from statement of accounts and purchase orders to sales reports.
Apart from the roles I took on, I pride myself in pioneering the use of social media to advertise company’s products. All these advertisements were done through TikTok and Instagram( username: CHERBEAUTY) Since I began this project, the company has garnered over nine thousand active customers and over 1.2 million views. Their sales have improved significantly and I believe they are in position to continue the project even without my presence. With my vast knowledge in social media I believe I can use these skills to be bring even more attention to Rose of Sharon Academy and clients.
I have also volunteered as a teacher at Mukuru Promotion Center based in Nairobi. I taught English and Kiswahili. I also communicated with management to arrange for extracurricular activities for the students during the holiday seasons which was effected. The children got to participate in plays and recited poems too. It was fulfilling and I am very excited for an opportunity to coordinated in a similar environment.
Reflecting on all my roles until this point, I was required to have immaculate time and calendar management skills, effective communication and being adaptable to fast changes in an unpredictable circumstance. Prioritizing tasks and efficiently executing them have been a part of my career. I am confident that I am experienced to be a point of contact for any clients big or small. I have learned to be personable and make people comfortable because that is a part of the job that makes it easy to acquire trivial information. I understand that this role needs confidentiality and trust. Despite of the skills I have acquired I am willing and ready to learn and absorb as much as I can to make tasks easier for my employer.
I am well versed with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Canva and Google calendar since these are productivity tools that I frequently use in time and calendar management.
I am goal-driven, reliable and dependable. I understand how important my performance will be to the success of your organization. If I am successful, I will constantly seek to add value in my work to help your organization excel in the market and to ensure that you see a positive return.
