Introduction
Hi there! My name is Emma, a 22 year old female born and raised in Montreal, QC. I enjoy reading, swimming, solving puzzles and playing with my cat. People in my inner circle would describe me as organized, detail-oriented, productive, a clear communicator and a problem solver. Growing up as an athlete in competitive swimming I not only developed excellent relationship building and communication skills but had many opportunities to lead and organize. My first job I worked for a private yacht club for about 7 years with tasks ranging from an office administrative assistant to pool and playground manager. It's through these lived experiences that I curated a passion for feminism and began my studies at Queens University in Human Rights. As Team Captain of The Varsity Swim Team, I learned a lot of valuable skills that ultimately lead me to a position working for the federal government as a Human Resources Assistant. In this job I am responsible for supporting end-to-end recruitment processes. After two amazing year working for Transport Canada Quebec Region I have decided its time for a change.
