We are a warm, multicultural family of five based in Dubai for most of the year, and we spend our summers (mid-June to mid-September) in the beautiful South of Spain. Our household is full of energy, play, and a love for languages and learning.
About Us:
* My name is Aysha — I’m half Palestinian-Jordanian and half Irish. My husband is Irish and spent eight years living in Saudi Arabia.
* We have three children: our eldest son is 4, and his younger siblings are 3 and 1.
* The children are curious, playful and used to being around different languages. Our four-year-old attends a bilingual English/Arabic school, and we’ve supported both Spanish and English language development at home.
* Our past live-in Spanish tutor had a huge impact just through informal, playful immersion — games, stories, and lots of mealtime chats — and we’re now hoping to do the same for Arabic.
What We’re Looking For:?We’re seeking a kind, positive, and energetic person who loves working with children and is passionate about the Arabic language. Ideally, you’ll be fluent in Arabic (native or near-native) and confident speaking with young children in a way that’s gentle, warm, and fun.
We are not expecting formal lessons, this is about helping the kids absorb the language naturally through play, stories, songs, and everyday conversation.
You’d mostly spend time with them during mealtimes, free play and bedtime story routines. Your time with the kids will be focused on those natural moments at home.

* Some experience with young children is helpful but not essential, enthusiasm and presence are most important
