Job Specification – Rota Nannies (Lisbon, ASAP Start)
Position: 2 × Rota Nannies
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Salary: €2,000 net/month (after tax, slightly negotiable)
Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Accommodation: Private ensuite room provided during working weeks + all meals included
Key Requirements
EU passport required (no sponsorship available)
Age preference: 22–45
Minimum 2–3 years’ nanny experience, particularly with toddlers (ages 3 years and 18 months)
Confident and competent driver (non-negotiable)
Fluent English
Flexible, positive, and professional attitude
Knowledge of child development approaches (Montessori, Waldorf) desirable
Ability to understand and work effectively within an ultra-high-net-worth household
Able to adapt swiftly to changes and household dynamics
Professional discretion, able to step in and step back as needed
Comfortable with extensive international travel alongside the family
Role Responsibilities
Full responsibility for nursery duties and the children’s wellbeing
Plan, organise, and execute age-appropriate activities and outings
Manage daily routines, schedules, and children’s development
Organise children’s laundry, bedrooms, and play areas
Prepare simple, healthy meals for children when required
School/nursery drop-offs and pick-ups
Pack for travel and daily needs
Travel internationally with the family
Candidate Profile
Ideally based in Lisbon or elsewhere in Portugal (priority to local candidates)
Warm, proactive, professional, and adaptable
Experienced in ultra-high-net-worth households, with a strong understanding of high standards and discretion
Able to work in a fully staffed household and collaborate with other staff (cook, housekeeper)
Confident handling unexpected situations and adapting to changes in household routines
Start Date
ASAP
Must be available for an immediate trial
Able to start by 10th April
