Family's Introduction to Nanny
My name is Olivia, and I am reaching out because we are currently looking for a live-in nanny in Panama.
We have two daughters, Camila (13) and Sofia (11). They attend an English-language school, The Oxford School, and are Panamanian/Swiss. We are specifically looking for a native English speaker who can communicate with them daily, helping them become fully fluent and confident in English, especially in support of their schooling.
In addition, we are looking for someone who can support our younger daughter with her homework, help her stay organized, and stay on top of her school responsibilities.
We also place great importance on creative and educational activities. We would love someone who enjoys doing arts and crafts, reading books together, creative play, and stimulating activities, rather than screen time. We prefer that the girls are not sitting in front of an iPad, but instead are encouraged to learn, create, and use their imagination in a healthy and engaging way.
We own a boutique hotel and restaurant in Santa Catalina, while the girls attend school in Santiago, where we rent an apartment so they can be close to school. Due to our work responsibilities, we are not always able to be present in Santiago, which is why we are looking for someone very professional, reliable, caring, and responsible to support the girls.
The role would also include taking care of the apartment, preparing meals for the girls, and keeping the space clean and well organized, creating a safe, structured, and comfortable environment for them.
