Hi there, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us!
We’re a warm, loving family who recently made the exciting move to Australia just a few months ago. Life has been full of adventure and adjustment, and we’re now looking for an energetic, and kind-hearted au pair to join our household and become a part of our journey.
We have four young children who bring so much joy and energy to our home: twin boys who are 2 years old, and two wonderful girls aged 6 and 8. We also have a 15-year-old son who is a fantastic older brother and has been a huge support — but we’d love to ease some of the responsibility from his shoulders so he can focus on being a teenager, enjoying his own interests and passions.
My husband travels for work three days a week, so I’m often managing things solo during the day as the older kids are at school. I’d love to have an extra set of hands (and heart) to help with the twins while I do school runs, errands, cooking, after school activities and exercise!
We’re looking for someone who truly enjoys being around children, and who can become an extended part of our family. Experience is a plus but not a must — if you’re nurturing, responsible, and excited about this chapter, we’d love to hear from you.
Flexibility is key for us — we’re happy to chat openly about hours, responsibilities, and pay to make sure it’s a great fit for both sides.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Reading & Literacy Development
• Read books aloud to twins daily to foster language development and a love of reading.
2. Fine Motor Activities
• Guide twins through activities such as:
• Puzzles
• Scissor practice
• Coloring and painting
3. Music & Movement
• Encourage musical expression through:
• Listening to music
• Singing songs together
• Dancing
4. Gross Motor Skills
• Support physical development with:
• Kicking, throwing, and catching balls
• Running and participating in obstacle courses
• Swimming
• Riding scooters and balance bikes
Nature walks
5. Practical Life Skills
• Preparing and making snacks together
• Assist with daily routines to build independence:
• Potty training support
• Teaching hand-washing routines
• Helping with sweeping and basic cleaning
6. Help with chores such as
- laundry
- dishes
- sweeping up food off floor
- tidying toys
