Responsibilities & Duties

The nanny is expected to:

1. Childcare & Development

Feed babies and children scheduled meals and healthy snacks throughout the day.

Provide engaging playtime, story time, and age-appropriate activities.

Encourage learning through play, music, and hands-on exploration.

Interact with children in an enthusiastic, caring, and patient manner.

Support emotional development by acknowledging feelings and helping them learn how to express themselves.



2. Daily Care

Change diapers, assist with potty training when appropriate.

Maintain children’s daily routine (meals, naps, play).

Ensure children’s safety at all times, indoors and outdoors.



3. Household Tasks Related to Children

Prepare simple meals/snacks for children; light cooking if needed.

Clean up after meals, playtime, and activities.

Maintain children’s play areas, dishes, and belongings in tidy condition.



4. Professional Expectations

Arrive on time and follow the agreed schedule.

No excessive personal phone use during work hours.

Display patience, calmness, and positivity (especially with two under two).

Show genuine love for children and passion for their growth.


Qualifications

Proven childcare experience (preferably with infants/toddlers).

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Reliable transportation.

Enthusiastic, loving, and professional.

Non-smoker.
