Summary:
- Seeking a live-in or live-out nanny for one active toddler, age 20 months
- Percent responsibilities: 30% housekeeper and 70% Childcare
- Days: Monday - Friday, 5 days per week. (w/ possibility of Saturdays likely once a quarter)
- Hours: 8am-8pm timeframe; can be 7-7 on some days
- Pay Rate: $700 per week (cash payment via Zelle)
- Benefits: 1) Meals - two (usually at home), 2) Monthly Metrocard (cash payment via Zelle), 3) Holiday bonus/stipend ($TBD, end of year) 4) Annual Professional Development Stipend ($500 max. after 1 full year of service), 5) 6 paid holidays a year
Candidate requirements:
- Must be patient, caring, energetic, attentive and efficient individual, with a warm personality
- Must be punctual, respectful and thorough
- Must have prior experience taking care of children, as well as cleaning a small home
- Must be trustworthy and responsible, take initiative and have attention to detail
- Must be able to communicate and read well in English
- Must be good with multi-tasking and time management
- Must be Covid-19 vaccinated
Duties include but are not limited to:
- General housekeeping
- Children's Laundry Only
- Build infant child's motor skills development (list will be provided)
- Make children's bed, change linens and towels as desired.
- Tidy children's play area
- Prepare light meals for children
- Accompany mom with child to and from activities on occasion
- Work with child on learning: letters, numbers, colors, shapes
- Run outside errands, as needed
