Hello! My name is Cathy!

A highly dedicated and experienced childcare provider and educator with over 15 years of direct experience, including tutoring private and preschool/elementary students; valid First Aid and CPR/AED Certification (American Safety & Health Institute); TESOL/TEFL certificate holder. Graduated with a degree in BACHELOR OF EDUCATION. Skilled in safety supervision, nurturing care, and delivery of engaging, development-focused activities; and passionate about helping children reach their full potential through positive reinforcement and individualized care.
My background includes supervising daily activities, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, and maintaining a clean, organized household. Currently working for a European (Belgian) family in Abu Dhabi since January 2018. As a private academic tutor, I prepare students for exams, evaluate student progress through assessment, provide homework support, and maintain communication with parents to provide progress updates. While my classroom experience includes crafting individualized learning plans and partnering with parents to support progress. I complement these strengths with practical skills in childcare management, arts and crafts, cooking, and Microsoft Office, as well as English and Filipino language proficiency. I also hold an International Diploma in Pre and Primary, along with multiple caregiver certifications from one of the institutes in Dubai. I am also currently taking an International Diploma in Special Needs Education. I am prepared to relocate and can begin employment in June-July 2026.
