Hello dear host family,
My name is Hanah, and I’m 26 years old. I’m originally from Uganda, but I am currently working in Saudi Arabia as a live-in caregiver for two wonderful children.an one elder. I’ve been in this role for nearly two years now, and it has taught me so much about responsibility, patience, and the joy of helping children grow and feel safe.
My passion for caregiving started early, and I’ve worked both as a nanny and a caregiver. I help with everything from feeding, bathing, and school preparation to playing, storytelling, and emotional support. I truly enjoy building close bonds with children, and I treat every child I care for with the same love and kindness I would give to my own family same goes for the elders.
In my free time, I love baking, doing arts and crafts, and reading books. These hobbies are not only fun for me, but they are also great ways to connect with kids. I find that creative activities help children express themselves, learn new things, and most importantly—have fun! I enjoy seeing their eyes light up when we decorate cookies together or finish a fun craft project.
I want to become an au pair abroad because I believe in the beauty of cultural exchange. I’m excited to experience a new way of life, learn a new language, and share my own background with a loving family. My dream is to be a big sister figure to your children—someone they can trust, laugh with, and learn from.
