Introduction
Although I have not officially worked as an Au Pair before, I have many years of hands-on childcare experience that have prepared me well for this role.
From a very young age, I helped care for my younger sister who has a motor disability. While my parents were working, I was responsible for staying with her, assisting her with daily activities, and making sure she was safe and comfortable. This experience taught me responsibility, patience, empathy, and how to adapt to different needs. It also made me mature at an early age and confident in handling responsibility.
In addition, throughout my teenage years, I regularly took care of a neighbor’s daughter. I began caring for her when she was four years old and continued to look after her as she grew older. I was responsible for playing with her, preparing simple meals, helping with routines, and ensuring she felt safe and happy while her parents were at work. Being part of her development over the years was very meaningful to me.
I would like to become an Au Pair & Nanny abroad because I truly enjoy working with children and being part of their growth. I also see this as a valuable cultural exchange opportunity. Living abroad would allow me to experience a new culture, improve my language skills, and grow both personally and professionally. I am motivated, adaptable, and ready to become a supportive and reliable member of a host family.
