My name is Whitney, I am 21 years old and currently studying Civil Engineering. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

I am a caring, patient, responsible and trustworthy person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I love helping them learn, explore the world around them and feel safe, happy and supported.

Over the years, I have gained valuable childcare experience with children of different ages, from infants to school-aged children. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for a girl named Khritney. I looked after her during school holidays from the time she was 11 months old until she was about 5 years old. During this time, I helped with feeding, playtime, daily routines and creating a safe and nurturing environment where she could learn and grow.

I have also regularly cared for two siblings, Zoe and Igor, who are 2 and 7 years old. Their mother works afternoon and evening shifts, so I stay with them after school and daycare until one of their parents returns home. My responsibilities include supervising activities, preparing simple meals and snacks, keeping them entertained, helping with routines and ensuring their safety and well-being.

In addition, I cared for a 9-year-old boy named Jayden. I was responsible for looking after him in the afternoons after school until his mother finished work. This experience helped me develop strong responsibility, independence and communication skills.

Through these experiences, I have learned how important patience, kindness and consistency are when caring for children. I enjoy reading stories, playing games, encouraging creativity, spending time outdoors and helping children develop confidence and good habits.

I would describe myself as adaptable, open-minded and eager to learn. I am excited about becoming an au pair because it is a wonderful opportunity to support a family, build meaningful relationships with children and experience a new culture while sharing my own.

My goal is to become a trusted and reliable member of your family, someone you can depend on and someone your children feel comfortable and happy with.
