My name is Sharon, and I am a young, enthusiastic woman with a naturally caring heart and a deep love for children and family life. I would describe myself as warm, joyful, and open-minded someone who finds happiness in caring for others, learning new things, and experiencing life in meaningful ways. I come from a big family, where taking care of younger siblings was part of everyday life. Growing up in such an environment shaped me into a responsible, patient, and nurturing person, and it is where my love for children truly began.

I want to become an Au Pair and Nanny because I believe caring for children is both a privilege and a responsibility. For me, this role is not just about supervision, but about providing love, guidance, safety, and support during some of the most important years of a child’s life. I am at a stage in my life where I strongly believe that meaningful experiences will shape my future, and becoming an Au Pair allows me to grow personally, professionally, and culturally while doing what I love most caring for children.

I believe you should host me because I bring genuine care, commitment, and professionalism into a family setting. I am respectful, adaptable, and deeply family-oriented. I understand that welcoming someone into your home requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I strive to create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where children feel seen, heard, and valued. I am well qualified for this position both through my personal background and my professional training. I hold an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and I aspire to specialize in pediatric nutrition and wellness. I have also completed short courses in caregiving and plan to pursue a master’s degree in this field. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of child health, growth, and wellbeing, while my practical experiences have strengthened my hands-on caregiving skills.

Professionally, I have worked as a teacher and lecturer, as well as in a hospital setting. During my hospital work, I often chose to work in pediatric wards because I felt naturally drawn to caring for children in vulnerable moments. I also participated in community outreach programs focused on child health and wellbeing. In addition, I have volunteered in my local church, where I taught Sunday school and mentored teenagers experiences that further strengthened my ability to guide, nurture, and connect with young people of different ages.

I am particularly passionate about learning how to combine love, care, and professionalism in childcare. In my country, childcare is often left mainly to mothers or close relatives, and I see a gap in structured, professional child development support. Through this Au Pair experience, I hope to learn firsthand how families integrate care, education, nutrition, and emotional support in children’s daily lives, so that I can one day apply this knowledge in my own community and beyond.

I also love traveling, exploring new cultures, meeting new people, and trying new foods and activities. Recently, I developed a strong interest in learning French and understanding French culture. I have maintained a 365-day learning streak on Duolingo, and I truly believe that the best way to learn a language is by living within the culture and interacting with it daily. Being an Au Pair gives me the unique opportunity to immerse myself fully learning the language, values, and way of life while contributing positively to a family.

I am currently unmarried and fully open to new experiences that will shape my future. I aspire to work globally as a dietitian, supporting children and communities from all walks of life. I strongly believe that being an Au Pair will be a transformative experience that strengthens my caregiving skills, cultural understanding, and professional direction.
