Dear host family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Luisa Parra. I am 30 years old and from Bogota, Colombia. For the moment I do live with my mom and my stepdad since the pandemic hit hard and being independent here it's a bit harder.
I am living in a house that is located in an area mostly surrounded by nature. I do as well have a 2-year-old cat named Wanda and we love to cuddle all day. My stepdad is already retired and my mother is an esthetician/housewife, both of them are the ones who keep me grounded on earth and also support me with all the things I wanted to do.
I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation.
In my free time, I like to listen to music, draw, paint, go to animal shelters, and from time to time travel around nearby cities.
At the moment, I work as a Quality Concern Specialist for an American call center, so I'm able to practice my English and get in touch with tons of clients from around the globe. But before that, I had the incredible chance to be an AuPair in the US for two years, and I've to say it was a great opportunity to grow and see a different perspective from another culture. After my time was completed there, I got the chance to work for an amazing family in the Netherland and I was amazed by the tranquility and the eco-friendly mindset they have. Both opportunities were incredible
That's why I would love to work again as Nanny this time because I know the responsibilities it takes, the love and caring kids need, and as well because I do want to keep exploring and getting to know more cultures, languages, and amazing people.
