Hi! My name is Maki West. I’m 19 years old and from Utah, and I would describe myself as someone who is creative, energetic, and efficient. Shopping, traveling, and crafting are some of my favorite ways to spend my free time because I enjoy both exploring new places and creating things with my hands. Growing up, I played almost every sport I could get involved in, but basketball ended up being the sport I stuck with throughout high school. Outside of sports, music has always been a huge part of my life. I was in a choir growing up and absolutely love singing! Right now, I’m planning to transition into online schooling, which I’m excited about because it gives me more flexibility and the ability to adapt to different opportunities and experiences. I would say being adaptable is one of my strongest qualities, I adjust easily to new situations, environments, and people, and I enjoy stepping outside of my comfort zone. Family is also a very important part of my life and values. Ever since I was young, I’ve also had a strong desire to be a mom one day, which reflects how naturally nurturing and family oriented I am.
