We are a family of 4, with 2 boys ages 4 and 8. My wife and I both work in town in a nearby office and the boys go to kindergarden and school very close to our house. We live centrally in a town with about 25.000 inhabitants. It is very safe and our community is wonderful. We have a garden and love being active. The boys play football, tennis and piano. We would love to welcome a caring Nanny into our home to help us in child care and everyday chores.

We are a family with two children (ages 4 and 8), raised in a trilingual home (Romanian, German and English), and we are passionate about music. We are looking for a responsible, active person to help guide our children and keep the household running smoothly.

We offer two options:

Option 1 — Daily schedule (8 hours a day)

Flexible hours, to be agreed at the interview.

While the children are at school / kindergarten:

Light housekeeping (hanging and folding laundry, ironing, washing and putting away dishes, making the children's beds, etc.)
Cooking

When the children are at home:

Playing in the garden
Activities such as painting, board games and role-play
Music activities (piano or another instrument is a plus)
Accompanying the children to after-school activities when needed
Option 2 — Live-in (accommodation included)

5 days a week, 2 days off.

Accommodation is provided in a private studio apartment on the property, with its own separate entrance and all utilities covered.

While the children are at school / kindergarten:

Housekeeping, cooking and cleaning the property

When the children are at home:

The same as in Option 1, including accompanying them to after-school activities when needed
What we are looking for
A responsible, hard-working and physically active person who genuinely enjoys working with children
Cooking skills and an interest in good food
Medically and psychologically fit to work with children
Non-smoker
A first-aid course (if you don't have one, we will pay for it)
Nice to have
Training or a natural aptitude in education and child development
Knowledge of either English, Romanian, Spanish or German
A passion for music (being able to play an instrument is a plus)
Comfortable with and fond of animals — we have a Bichon ??
