We live in Dubai Hills, in a calm and well-organised home. We have two children, aged 5 and 7. They are at school during the week, so our days follow a steady rhythm: breakfast and the school run in the morning, then a quieter stretch during school hours, and a busier afternoon and evening with homework, activities, dinner, baths and bedtime.

Our children are bright, affectionate and full of energy. They love being outdoors, swimming, drawing and being read to. Like all children their age, they need patience, warmth and gentle consistency — especially around homework and bedtime. Lights out is around 9pm.

Our house rules are simple: safety first, honesty always, kindness to one another, and respect for each other's space and privacy. We eat mostly fresh, home-cooked food and enjoy simple healthy meals.

The role
This is a full-time, live-out position, Sunday to Friday, covering mornings, afternoons and evenings, with Saturdays free. It combines childcare with cooking and daily housekeeping: school runs, after-school care and homework support, preparing family meals, and keeping the home clean, tidy and running smoothly.

We are seeking an experienced, warm and highly reliable nanny/housekeeper to join our family home in Dubai Hills on a full-time, live-out basis. This is a combined role covering childcare, cooking and daily housekeeping, and it suits someone who takes genuine pride in running a home well and who enjoys caring for school-age children.

The children
We have two children, aged 5 and 7. Both attend school during the week. They are bright, active and affectionate. They need patience, warmth and consistent routines — particularly around homework, mealtimes and bedtime.

Schedule
Sunday to Friday, covering mornings, afternoons and evenings, with Saturdays free. Exact daily hours will be agreed in advance and kept predictable. Occasional flexibility is appreciated and always discussed ahead of time, never assumed.

Childcare responsibilities
• School drop-offs and pick-ups, and punctual, safe transitions
• Preparing breakfast, school lunches and snacks
• After-school supervision, play and outdoor activities
• Homework support and reading practice
• Managing bath, evening and bedtime routines
• Keeping the children's rooms, clothing, uniforms and school bags organised
• Accompanying the children to activities and appointments as needed
• Monitoring safety at all times, including around water and traffic

Cooking responsibilities
• Planning and preparing fresh, healthy daily meals for the family
• Cooking for the children separately where needed
• Grocery shopping and maintaining kitchen stock
• Maintaining a clean, well-organised and hygienic kitchen

Housekeeping responsibilities
• General daily cleaning and tidying of the home
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
• Changing bed linen and towels
• Keeping shared living areas presentable and orderly
• Light household errands as required

Requirements
• Proven paid experience caring for school-age children, with contactable references
• Confident, competent home cooking for a family
• Good spoken and written English
• Valid UAE residency or eligibility to work in the UAE
• Punctual, honest, discreet and trustworthy
• Calm, patient and emotionally steady with children
• Able to work independently, anticipate needs and use initiative
• Physically fit and able to manage an active household
• Non-smoker
• First aid or paediatric first aid certification is an advantage
• UAE driving licence is an advantage but not essential
