Aupair Motivational Letter
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to express my strong interest in becoming your Aupair. I wanted to write you something warm, honest and not just a list of qualifications. A real sense of who 1 am and why I know I will be your ideal au pair.
I grew up as the oldest of three girls, and from a young age, caring for younger children became second nature to me. When my youngest sister was born, I was sixteen, and with my mother working long hours, I stepped naturally into a nurturing role for her. Watching her grow, helping her learn, and being her safe person through those early years is one of the experiences I am most proud of. I am also the oldest granddaughter in my family, so looking after my younger cousins has always been a big part of my life too. Caring for children is not something I do reluctantly, it is genuinely one of my favourite things.
Beyond my family, I have babysat for neighbours over the years, and I have always found that children seem to gravitate toward me naturally. I think it is because I genuinely enjoy being in their world
In the home, I like to think I am a real contributor, not just a guest. I enjoy cooking and find it genuinely relaxing. There is something satisfying about putting a good meal together. I have also become something of an expert at children's birthday parties! I have hosted my little sister's parties for years, which means I am very comfortable managing a house full of excited kids, keeping things fun and organised at the same time.
1 am an avid reader, and one of my absolute favourite things is reading to children.
Their reactions are the best, the gasps, the giggles, the wide eyes.
Outside of being indoors, I love nature walks and gardening, so I would genuinely enjoy outdoor time with your children rather than treating it as a chore. I also adore animals. I am a dog person at heart, though cats have a special place there too, so if you have pets at home, I will absolutely be their friend.
I am coming to Germany not just to work, but to truly live, to learn the language, embrace the culture, and be a real presence in your family's daily life. I am dependable, warm, patient, and I bring a lot of energy and genuine love for children into everything I do.
