# Au Pair Introduction Letter – Ganadenishiya

**Dear future host family,**

My name is **Ganadenishiya**, I am 21 years old, and I come from Sri Lanka. I am very happy to introduce myself to you and to share something about my family, my experiences, and myself. My wish is to come to Germany as an Au Pair, become part of your family, and take loving and responsible care of your children.

I live with my family, which includes my mother, father, sister, and two brothers. My older brother had a physical disability and used a wheelchair. Unfortunately, he passed away at the age of 15. This experience was very difficult for me, but it also made me stronger, more responsible, and more caring. It taught me how important it is to support others with patience, respect, and love.

After finishing school, I worked as an **assistant in the dental clinic of a private hospital**. At the same time, I completed a **nursing course**, because I have always enjoyed helping and caring for people. Through these experiences, I learned to work responsibly, carefully, and with great attention to detail.

Caring for children is also very close to my heart. I have **one year of childcare experience**, as I took care of my sister’s baby. Since the baby was born, I helped with daily care such as feeding, bathing, changing diapers, dressing, playing, and putting the baby to sleep. Through this experience, I learned to be patient, loving, and attentive with small children.

In addition, I worked for **four months in a government-approved children’s home**. There, I supported children in their daily activities. I helped them wash, bathe, get dressed, and eat. I also played with them, told them stories, and comforted them when they were sad. This experience was very meaningful to me and showed me how important love, patience, understanding, and emotional support are for children.

Later, my family faced some financial difficulties. Because of this, I decided to go to Germany as an Au Pair to gain new experiences, support my family, and grow personally. I would like to learn about German culture, improve my German language skills, and become more independent.

I have passed my **German A1 exam with a good result**, and I am eager to improve my German further in Germany. I look forward to speaking German in everyday life with my host family and learning more about German culture and family life.

I am also happy to help with household tasks. I can assist with **cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, doing laundry, and other daily chores**. I am reliable and ready to support my host family in everyday life.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, listening to music, spending time with children, and learning new things. I would also be happy to share my Sri Lankan culture, traditions, and food with my host family.

I do not only want to be an Au Pair, but also like a **loving older sister** to your children. I would love to play with them, support them in their daily activities, listen to them, and create beautiful memories together.

My **appointment at the German Embassy is scheduled for 22nd September**, and I am currently actively preparing for my Au Pair journey to Germany.
