Hello! Before we move forward, I would like to share a few things that are important to me regarding the host family arrangement. I’m looking for a relationship based on trust, respect and good communication, and I would really like to feel like a genuine member of the family.

Here are the conditions that are important to me:

• I would like to have my own private bedroom and my own private bathroom/toilet.
• Food and basic necessities should be provided by the host family.
• I would like to have my basic hygiene products and other essential everyday products provided as well.
• I would prefer not to have a curfew, as I would like to have some independence during my free time.
• I would like to have my weekends off, except if we agree together in advance about a specific occasion.
• I would like to live with both parents and be part of a stable family environment.
• Most importantly, I would really like to feel included as a member of the family, not only as an au pair.
• If the family goes somewhere together during my free time, I would really appreciate being invited and included whenever possible, as I would love to experience Canadian family life and create memories with you.

I completely understand that every family has its own routines and rules, and I’m happy to discuss everything together and find an arrangement that works well for everyone.
