My name is Elaika. I am a 24-year-old female from the Philippines, and it has long been my dream to go abroad as an au pair.
I am hoping to find a warm, welcoming family with whom I can build a meaningful relationship, create lasting memories, and share a wonderful cultural exchange. I speak fluent Tagalog and upper-intermediate English, and one of my primary goals during this experience is to achieve full fluency in English. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Philippines, which has given me strong organizational, communication, and management skills.
Currently, I am working as a domestic helper in Macau. This role has given me hands-on experience in managing household tasks efficiently, taking responsibility, and adapting smoothly to living in a foreign environment. Because I am currently based in Macau, I will need a host family who is willing to guide and assist me with the document processing and visa requirements to transition smoothly to Europe.
My ideal start date would be October 2026 for a 1- to 2-year stay (through 2027 or 2028).
By nature, I am friendly, positive, kind, and open-minded. I enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds, embracing new challenges, and stepping out of my comfort zone. In my free time, I love staying active through sports, traveling, and exploring new places and cultures.
I have over three years of experience taking care of children, including regularly babysitting my niece (my sister's daughter) since she was very young. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of patience, safety, active engagement, and creating a fun, nurturing environment for kids of different ages.
