Hello, dear host family! ??
My name is Judith Chinazaekpere, but you can call me Judith or Judy. I am from Nigeria, and I am very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and experience life with a host family in another country.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, and I am a responsible, caring, respectful and easy-going person. I am also curious, open-minded and always willing to learn. I enjoy meeting new people, discovering new places and learning about different cultures and ways of life.
I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and have hands-on childcare experience from caring for my niece and nephew. I especially have significant experience caring for my niece when she was under two years old. I helped with her everyday needs, including feeding, bathing, playing, keeping her company, supervising her and making sure she was safe and comfortable. We have also had plenty of Cocomelon moments together! ???? Caring for her has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, attentiveness and understanding children's different needs and moods.
I enjoy engaging children in activities rather than simply watching them. Depending on their age and interests, I would love to play games with them, read stories, draw and do other creative activities, help with homework, go for walks, play outdoors, prepare simple meals with them and keep them company during their daily routines. I also understand the importance of being patient and allowing children to learn and express themselves at their own pace.
One of the things I am most excited about regarding the au pair experience is cultural exchange. I would love to share parts of Nigerian culture with your family, including our food, music, traditions and perhaps teach the children a few words or expressions in my language. At the same time, I would be very happy to learn about your culture, traditions and family life.
I understand that being an au pair is more than travelling to another country. It is a responsibility and an opportunity to become a trusted member of a family. I would treat your children with care and respect, follow your household routines and rules, communicate openly with you and do my best to make your family's daily life a little easier.
I am looking for a host family where there is mutual respect, kindness, honesty and good communication. I would love to become part of your family while also respecting your privacy, boundaries and way of life. I hope to build a genuine relationship with my host family and create happy memories with the children.
Outside of childcare, I enjoy good music, spending time with people I care about, exploring new places and simply enjoying the little things in life. I am also someone who appreciates laughter and a warm atmosphere, so I hope to bring positive energy into my host family's home.
