Family Life & Activities

We enjoy spending time together as a family and encouraging the children to be active, curious, and independent. We want them to spend their time playing, exploring, learning, and interacting with people rather than being dependent on screens.

The children enjoy age-appropriate games, outdoor activities, playing together, and spending time around the family home and property.

We encourage our nanny to be creative and proactive about activities. You don't need to constantly entertain the children, but we do expect you to be engaged and present with them.

Our House Rules

We believe children should learn responsibility from an early age. One important rule in our home is that the children clean up after themselves.

We do not expect the nanny to do everything for the children. Instead, we want you to teach and encourage them to take ownership of their belongings, toys, rooms, and daily responsibilities.

We also have a no-screens approach for the children. We prefer that their time is spent playing, reading, learning, talking, and being active.

We also try to reduce sugar and unhealthy foods and encourage healthy eating habits.

Discipline should always be handled with kindness, patience, consistency, and respect.

Your Role

The nanny's role goes beyond simply supervising the children.

We are looking for someone who will take deep ownership of the children and the household. We want you to notice what needs to be done and take initiative rather than waiting to be told.

Your responsibilities will include:

Caring for and engaging with the four children
Helping with homework and daily routines
Encouraging the children to clean up after themselves
Preparing simple meals when ingredients are provided
Helping with groceries and errands
Driving the children to activities, school, pickups, and drop-offs when needed
Keeping the home tidy and organized
Helping with light household tasks
Creating fun and meaningful activities for the children
Maintaining a safe, loving, and structured environment

Living Arrangement

This is a full-time live-in position in Bermuda.

You will have your own private living space in a pool house on the family estate. Water and electricity are provided.

The family will cover the initial flight to Bermuda. Personal expenses such as your phone, personal food and drinks, travel home, and other personal expenses will be your responsibility.
