Hello! My name is Laia, I am 22 years old and I am from Catalonia, Spain.
I have a Higher Technician qualification in Early Childhood Education (TEI), which has given me knowledge about child development, routines, educational activities and caring for young children.
I have experience working with small children in educational environments. I also worked as a babysitter for a 4-year-old girl. My responsibilities included helping her get dressed, preparing her breakfast, getting her ready in the morning and taking her to school. This experience helped me become very responsible, organised and attentive to children’s needs.
In addition, I currently work as a lunchtime supervisor in a primary school with children aged 7-8 years old. I supervise them during lunch and playtime, help maintain a safe and positive environment, and support them in their daily routines.
I am a responsible, caring, patient and creative person. I enjoy spending time with children, doing crafts, reading stories and organising fun educational activities. I speak Spanish and Catalan, and I am improving my English every day.
I would love to become an au pair because I enjoy working with children and I would like to experience a new culture while continuing my online university studies in Early Childhood Education.
