Introduction
My name is Daniella, and I’m from the Philippines. I’m a kind, responsible, patient, and hardworking young woman who is interested in becoming an au pair and becoming part of a loving host family.
I am currently a nursing student, and although I love my studies, I am considering taking a break because of personal and financial circumstances. I would like to use this opportunity to gain experience abroad, become more independent, learn about another culture, and grow personally while doing something I genuinely enjoy caring for children.
Taking care of children is not something completely new to me. Since I was young, I helped take care of my younger siblings while my mother worked abroad. Growing up in this situation taught me to be responsible, patient, independent, and caring. I learned how to prepare meals, keep the house organized, help children with their daily routines, and make sure they are safe and comfortable.
As a nursing student, I have also had hospital duties where I learned about proper hygiene, safety, communication, and caring for patients, including children. My nursing education has taught me to be attentive and responsible, especially when it comes to someone’s health and well-being.
Outside of school, I volunteer every Sunday in our church’s children’s ministry. I help supervise children, teach them, play with them, and participate in activities with them. I really enjoy spending time with children because they are naturally curious, energetic, and full of joy. I would be happy to read books with your children, play games, do arts and crafts, help with homework, prepare simple meals, spend time outdoors, and support them with their everyday routines.
I can also help with light household responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, organizing, laundry, and keeping the children’s areas tidy. I understand that being an au pair is not only about taking care of children but also about being respectful of the family’s routines, rules, culture, and personal space.
I would describe myself as someone who is easy to communicate with, willing to learn, respectful, trustworthy, and adaptable. I may come from a different country and culture, but I am excited to learn from your family and share my Filipino culture with you as well. I would love to introduce you to Filipino food, traditions, language, and the warm hospitality that Filipinos are known for.
My dream is to experience life in another country while becoming a meaningful and trusted part of a family. I don’t expect everything to be perfect, and I understand that living with a new family and caring for children comes with responsibilities. I am willing to learn, communicate openly, and do my best every day.
I also understand that there are visa and legal requirements for applicants from the Philippines. I am willing to follow the proper process and provide the necessary documents if you are interested in considering me.
I would be very happy to have a video call with your family so we can get to know each other better, and I would love to hear about your family, your children, your daily life, and what you are looking for in an au pair.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my introduction. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and, hopefully, become a caring and reliable au pair for your family.
