Family's Introduction to Au Pair
Hello and welcome to our family!
We are a warm and happy family of five living in Frankfurt, Germany. Our family includes Mum, Dad, our cheerful six-year-old daughter, and our adorable baby twins. We are looking for a kind, responsible, and positive au pair who would like to become part of our family, share our everyday life, and create wonderful memories with us.
We believe an au pair is much more than just childcare – we hope to welcome someone who feels at home with us, enjoys spending time together, and experiences life in Germany as a true member of our family.
Family life is very important to us. We enjoy spending quality time together, supporting our children in their development, and creating a loving home where everyone feels welcome.
Our six-year-old daughter is a cheerful, curious, and caring little girl who loves arts and crafts, reading stories, riding her bike, swimming, and playing outside with her friends. She will start primary school soon and is excited about this new adventure.
Our twins are happy little explorers. They are growing quickly and are discovering something new every day. As they are still very young, they need lots of love, attention, and encouragement while they learn and develop. They will soon start to go to day care.
We live in a modern detached house in a quiet, safe, and family-friendly neighborhood just outside Frankfurt.
You will have your own private, fully furnished bedroom with Wi-Fi and you will share a bathroom with our daughter.
Our home has a garden where the children love to play, and there are parks, playgrounds, supermarkets, cafés, and public transportation within walking distance.
We want our au pair to feel comfortable and truly at home with us.
We live on the outskirts of Frankfurt, one of Germany’s most international cities.
Frankfurt offers museums, shopping, restaurants, beautiful parks, festivals, and many opportunities to meet other au pairs and international students. The city centre can be reached in about 20 minutes by public transport.
Our neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by nature, making it a wonderful place for families while still being close to everything the city has to offer.
In the morning, everyone gets ready for the day together before our daughter goes to school and the twins go to daycare.
During the day, both parents are working either in the office or home office while the children are at school or daycare.
In the afternoon, we spend time together, play or meet friends. We have dinner as a family, and enjoy our evening routine before the children go to bed.
Weekends are mostly family time, and we love going on little trips or enjoying
our home and garden.
We are looking for an au pair who enjoys spending time with young children and is happy to support us in our daily family life.
Your main tasks will include:
* helping with the morning routine (around 7:00–8:30 a.m.),
* picking up the children from school and daycare,
* helping with dinner and the evening routine (around 5:30–8:00 p.m.),
* playing with the children,
* and helping with light household tasks related to the children, such as keeping the children’s rooms tidy, doing the children’s laundry, and keeping the shared bathroom clean.
According to German au pair regulations, your working time will not exceed 30 hours per week.
We provide:
* your own private room,
* full board,
* official monthly pocket money,
* health, accident, and liability insurance,
* financial support for your German language course,
* and, if needed, a public transportation ticket.
