Dear Future Host Family,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. My name is Kimberly Joy, and I'm from the Philippines. I'm excited about the opportunity to become an au pair because I believe it's more than just caring for children. It's about becoming part of a family, building meaningful relationships, and learning from one another.

I speak fluent English and have hands on experience caring for children of different ages. I'm currently helping care for my 3 month old nephew, and I also helped look after my now 9 year old nephew and my almost 3 year old nephew since they were babies. Spending time with children is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether we're playing with toy cars, reading bedtime stories, singing songs, doing arts and crafts, or simply talking about the world around us, I love creating moments that are both fun and meaningful.

One of my favorite things to do is help children learn through play. With my almost 3 year old nephew, we practice his ABCs, read together, and explore simple words. I'm incredibly proud that he can already read simple CVC words. Sometimes before his nap, he asks me to tell him a story by saying, "Long time ago, Kimkim," and those little moments always make me smile. He even calls me "Bestie" instead of "Aunt," which shows the close bond we've built.

I would describe myself as kind, patient, responsible, adaptable, and easy to get along with. I understand that every family has its own routines and values, and I'm always willing to learn and support them. I'm also happy to help with light household tasks related to the children and enjoy cooking simple meals.

What draws me to the au pair program is the opportunity to experience a new culture while sharing my own. I hope to become someone your children feel safe with, someone they can laugh, learn, and grow with, and someone you can trust and rely on. My goal is not only to help make your daily life a little easier but also to become a caring and positive part of your family.
