Hello! We live in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, about 40 minutes by train from Shanghai. We have two children – a boy named Ethan, who is 9 years old. He is a very enthusiastic, outgoing, and kind boy. Although he can be a little mischievous at times, he is still a lovely child. His hobbies are sports – he loves playing football, swimming, hiking, cycling, and badminton, and he also enjoys playing on the Switch. He is about to enter fourth grade, and schoolwork is quite demanding, with a lot of homework after school. Ethan’s English is pretty good – he can communicate normally in English, and recently he has been focusing on English grammar.

Our daughter, Amber, is 7 years old. She can be a bit shy when you first meet her, but once she warms up, she will chat with you non-stop and become your best friend. She is a very kind and thoughtful person. Amber enjoys crafts, drawing, creative hands-on activities, singing, and cycling. Both children are already in primary school, so they are at school during the day. Their school hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., sometimes with a kids club after school.

Now let me introduce my husband and me. We are both self-employed and run a clothing company, selling our products both online and offline. My husband is usually busy and sometimes travels for work. My own work schedule is more flexible – I don’t have fixed office hours, though I can get busy occasionally. When I finish my tasks, I have more free time.

During school holidays, we often take the children on trips. For short breaks, we choose nearby cities; for longer holidays, we travel abroad. This summer, we are in Los Angeles for a summer camp, and we brought our current au pair, Becky, with us. She has been enjoying the whole holiday with our family. In the past, we have visited many countries with the children – Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, the United States, the UK, and more. So we are a very open-minded family.

We also have a nanny at home who cooks, cleans, and handles the household chores. So your main role would be to help the children with an English-learning plan, guiding them step by step to improve their English.

1. Schedule

· Working hours: 30–35 hours per week.
· Monday to Friday:
· 8:00 a.m. – Drop the children off at school (our home is only a 3- to 5-minute walk from the school).
· 4:30–5:30 p.m. – Pick them up, then spend some time playing sports with them.
· 5:45–6:45 p.m. – Dinner. After a short break, you will help the children with English study, mainly focusing on Amber, since Ethan has a lot of homework and is quite busy.
· The children go to bed around 9:00–9:30 p.m.
· The rest of your working hours will be on the weekend, and we can arrange those flexibly as long as we stay within 30–35 hours per week.
· You will have one full day off each week – we can decide on the specific day once you are here.

2. Work Content
Mainly spend time with the children – drawing, playing sports, reading, and playing. Based on their English levels, you can make a study plan to help them improve.
