I have over 5 years of childcare experience and have been an au pair 3 times before, including in Italy, Scotland, and Dubai, so I’m very used to settling into new homes and finding a good rhythm with families. I’m South African and English, and grew up in the Middle East, which I think made me pretty adaptable and easygoing.
I’m naturally outgoing and responsible, and I like keeping things calm but fun for the kids. I’m also very comfortable with pets, and as a trained chef I really enjoy cooking proper, healthy meals for the family.
For me, being an au pair is about fitting into family life in a genuine way, while also appreciating the cultural exchange side of things.
