Hi! My name is Lorelai, and I’m an American college student currently studying in Missouri, originally from New York. I’m very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and experience life in Brazil.

I come from a big family and have seven younger siblings, so I’ve grown up helping take care of children of all ages. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with kids and have developed patience, responsibility, and a caring attitude. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, whether that’s playing, helping with routines, or just being someone they feel safe and comfortable around.

I’m planning to be in Brazil this summer, from around June to August (possibly just the month of July), and I would love to stay with a family where I can help with childcare and light household tasks. I’m also very interested in learning Portuguese and would be happy to help your children practice English as well.

While staying with your family, I will also be taking some online courses, so having a bit of free time to study and explore would be important to me. I would love to experience the local culture, spend time at the beach, and if possible, join your family on outings or activities.

I would describe myself as warm, reliable, and easygoing. I value open communication and want to make sure I am a positive and helpful addition to your home.
