Hello future Au pair,

We are the Flowers family. I’m a pediatric nurse practitioner and James(Tony) is an engineer that works in the space industry. Tony works from home and occasionally goes into the office and also travels for work.

We have two girls, McKenzie who will be 4 years and Gia who will be 2 years by the time you arrive.

McKenzie attends school Monday- Friday
Gia is home full-time right now.

Our ideal au pair is innovative, independent and does not require micromanaging; able to take initiative and needs little direction with completing tasks. I would like to bring in a mature au pair who would love to be treated as part of our family and is confident in speaking up and working together as a team. We require flexibility as our jobs are demanding and scheduling may change but we work to be fair and equitable with your time! Being part of our family truly means just that. We won’t do well with someone that solely wants an employee/employer relationship. We cherish someone who takes interest in our family, our kids, our traditions and is more than just a roommate. Helping each other is important in this house as we truly are a team.

- Able to work with two small kids at one time and able to safely multitask; 2 year old and 4 year old
- A strong driver with at least 2 years of daily driving in her home country- non negotiable and will be an instant reason for rematch.
- Experience driving in a city setting preferred.
- Able to plan and identify lunches and dinners for kids on work days.
- Experience with planning and initiating activities for children.
- Flexible scheduling: dad travels sometimes due to work unexpectedly and a mom works in healthcare and has a rotating block schedule. Some weekend work is required with notice. We try and coordinate and give ample amount of time off

Duties include:

Pick up and drop off- as needed to school or activities.

Plan, cook and prep meals for kids during the week

Lunch box preparation

Kid’s laundry

Toy and clothing organization and daily tidying or children’s spaces

Attending play dates and attending extracurricular activities as scheduled.
