Family's Introduction to Au Pair
We are a warm, active family living in the breathtaking Bernese Swiss Alps (Interlaken area). Our household includes twin boys (turning 1 in February 2026), a toddler (turning 3 in April), and two friendly Australian Shepherds. Dad is a doctor (from the Netherlands), and Mom is a FinTech leader (from South Africa) working from home.
We need an experienced, patient, and highly organized au pair who can confidently care for multiple small children and multitask in a dynamic environment. Most help is required over 4 busy weekdays, with light or no assistance on the other 3 days.
Our family loves the outdoors—hiking, skiing, and exploring nature—so if you’re sporty, adventurous, and love dogs, you’ll fit right in!

Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide loving, attentive care for three young children (twins aged 1 and a toddler aged 3).
Assist with feeding, diaper changes, naps, and playtime.
Engage children in age-appropriate activities (indoor and outdoor).
Help with some household tasks related to the children (tidying play areas, washing bottles, folding kids’ laundry, making snacks and light meals).
Support parents during busy workdays (mostly 4 days/week).
Join family on outdoor adventures when possible (walks, playground, nature outings).
Ensure safe and stimulating environment for the kids.
Occasionally assist with meal prep for children.
Be comfortable around two friendly Australian Shepherds.
Attend language classes as required by Swiss au pair regulations.

Language Course: Paid language classes (minimum 120 hours/year).
