Introduction
Dear Family
I come from a big family and l am the eldest child from a family of 3. However, l can boldly say l have played the big sister role to 6 young ones from the time l was 11 curtsey of living with extended family.
I love children and l have a great passion for taking care of those surrounding me which has been very instrumental in my education and career choice. I am currently working as a volunteer for a NGO department that offers daycare services to children with special needs free of charge so that parents can be gainfully employed.
At the same time, I am solely responsible for my 2 youngest siblings aged 10 and 7 since both my parents are farmers and can not be home and at their farm simultaneously. That experience alone has turned me into a responsible, organised and attendive person as I have had to plan not only the school related aspect of their lives but also their health, general wellness and happiness.
I know l only have 1 year paid experience work taking care of children. However I can guarantee that the experience l have gathered outside of the paid employment is extensive and makes up for where l may lack.
I do hope that you can put me into consideration as you select a new addition to your family.
