My name is Iris, and I am very happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am a Brazilian girl who loves children, cultural exchange, and learning from new experiences. I am looking for a host family in New Zealand where we can create a meaningful connection and share a wonderful experience together.
I have always enjoyed taking care of children and being part of their growth and development. I have experience as a babysitter in Brazil, taking care of children in my free time, and I also helped care for my little brother when he was a baby. I had a very special experience caring for my cousin with Down syndrome and esophageal atresia, where I helped with her daily care and spent time with her during her hospital treatment.
I also lived in Japan for two years, where I studied Japanese and experienced living alone in a completely different culture. This taught me to be independent, responsible, adaptable, and confident when facing new challenges.
In my free time, I love artistic activities such as ballet, oil painting, and playing the transverse flute. I also enjoy reading and discovering new cultures. I consider myself a caring, creative, patient, and open-minded person.
I would love the opportunity to become not only an Au Pair who helps your family, but also someone you can trust and welcome as part of your home. I hope we can share beautiful memories together and learn from each other.
