Introduction
Hi, my name is Clarissa and I’m from the Philippines. I’m currently an au pair in Stockholm, Sweden, and I’m now looking for my next host family to continue my Aupair journey.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering in 2024, but instead of going straight into my professional career, I decided to become an au pair because I wanted to experience more in life, see other parts of the world, meet different people, and be part of wonderful families. I also wanted to challenge myself outside my comfort zone and discover more about who I am as a person. Honestly, becoming an au pair has been one of the best experiences of my life so far.
My first au pair experience was in the Netherlands from 2024 to 2025, where I took care of three children aged 7, 10, and 11. I helped with their daily routines, played with them, spent time with them after school, and helped with light household chores. I really enjoyed becoming part of their family while also experiencing Dutch culture and everyday life there.
After that, I moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where I am currently an au pair from September 2025 until September 2026. Here, I take care of two children aged 8 and 10. My daily routine is quite similar , helping the children, spending time with them, helping around the house, and making sure everything goes smoothly during the day. Living in Sweden has taught me to become even more independent, adaptable, and open-minded.
I also help take care of pets with both of my host families. One of my duties is walking the dog, which I really enjoy because I love animals too. I would also happily take care of cats since I enjoy being around pets and treating them as part of the family.
Back in the Philippines, I also helped care for my younger cousins and baby cousins, so being around children has always felt natural to me. Since I’ve also lived independently, I’m comfortable with light household chores and keeping things organized.
I would describe myself as caring, easygoing, responsible, adventurous, and very adaptable. I love traveling, trying new things, learning about different cultures, and meeting new people. I always try to bring a positive and warm energy into the home, and I genuinely enjoy building connections with the families I stay with.
I hope you’ll consider me as your future au pair. I would love to become part of your family, help care for your children, share cultures with you, and create happy memories together.
