Here's an example day:
We are looking for someone to help us during the week with our children, but a schedule could at times vary. A few daily needs would be:
-making the children's breakfast and lunch (take away for school)
-doing the dishes
-reminding the twins & WB to clean their rooms
-general house pickup (toys)
-general cleaning (mostly kitchen as we have a housekeeper)
-kids laundry (housekeeper does Brett & Katie's)
-hanging with the babies and Westlyn Belle: playing and teaching
-preparing lunch for babies
-putting babies down for nap
-when WB get home from school putting her down for nap
-playing with kids once everyone's up from nap/twins home from school
-bathtime for kids

We are the Thome family! We are looking for an au pair that is excited to learn about America, flexible with their schedule, loves having things be neat and orderly and most importantly loves children! We have twin 8 year old boy/girl twins: Wilder & Waverly as well as a 4 year old: Westlyn Belle, 20 month old Whitman and 10 month old Wrex! As a family we enjoy spending time together, we are very active in our children's lives. We enjoy eating dinner together nightly, playing sports & board games as well as having weekly dance parties! We also love to travel with our children and our favorite go-to is Hawaii!
We are Christian faith and want God's teaching to permeate our children's everyday life in a way that is easy and comprehensible. We attend church weekly, the twins are in second grade, Westlyn Belle will start Kindergarten this fall at a private Christian school.
We love living in Lincoln as it is a town focused on community and safety, it is a haven in this modern world. We do have a housekeeper that comes M, W & F as my husband is a busy executive, and I run a small interior design business that is shrinking as more and more of my time is willingly given to the kids and as we are currently trying to have another child. We have had a live in nanny before and are used to incorporating someone into our lives, we also understand needing space! We have the perfect home for a live in nanny actually. Our last au pair was from Venezuela and we are still super close with her, we had such a fabulous experience that we are back again for round 2!
