Hello Family!

My name is Bailey, and I am a 20 year old 3rd year college student. I am currently working towards a degree in Nursing, because I love the healthcare field. I currently am working in a Brethren-denomination nursing home as a CNA, and as a Home Health Aid for a great home health comany. I love helping others, and getting to know the residents and taking care of them.

I can be a little reserved at times, but once I get a feel for any given situation I am very outgoing and become very comfortable easily. I'm very much an optimist, so there is always a smile on my face; I feel like life is too short to always be worrying about things. I'm open to most activities, including anything musical, outdoors, or creative. While I'm not the most athletic person, I love sports and know all the basics to just about every American sport. I like to have fun, but I know how to relax and be carefree as well. I am a versatile person, and I am hoping to use my nanny experience, however long it may be, to grow with my family and get a feel for living away from home.

While I have not been a nanny before, I have had plenty of experience with children. I have babysat for the past 8 years for multiple families, and have never had a single complaint. The youngest child I have babysat for is 2 weeks, so I have plenty of experience with handling babies, feeding them, changing them, etc. etc. I have also babysat all age groups through 11 years, usually having 3-4 children at a time, so I also know how to juggle my time with them to keep all children entertained and happy. I use crafts, games inside and out, movies, and play time to keep the children active and happy. I am a very good cook and I’m a thorough cleaner, so I could be used for more than just child duties. I am looking to live with my family, but if that cannot be arranged I simply ask for help in finding an apartment or somewhere to live that is close to my family. I have my own car that I can bring along if needed. I have been in one wreck, which happened 2 years ago, and have never been issued a ticket before; I see myself as a very cautious driver.
