Current, Experienced Host Family in need of an English Speaking au pair in Northern Virginia!!!
We have wonderful relationships with all of our past 3 au pairs and sadly have brought in an au pair through the agency who cannot speak basic English which is a putting the safety of our children at risk. She is very sweet and means well but she is not ready for the program yet and we are now in immediate need of an au pair with decent (not perfect) English skills who knows how to take good care of little children.
Our kids:) Dominic, 7 (going into 2nd grade in September), Joseph, 5 (going into Kindergarden in September), Isabella, 3 (going to Preschool for 1/2 days in September).
Summer is fun and busy. We need a high energy, intelligent, creative and organized woman to keep the schedule smooth and enducational for our little ones.
The work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am - 6pm, only occassional "babysitting" on weekends but very rare. There is no car for personal use other than for school, we have great classes available at NOVA and other choices. Vacation is 1 week during the summer and 1 week during Christmas to New Years.
We need someone who can drive well, speaks English clearly so she can teach our little ones to speak, and who can cook during the week. We love each other, our family, and our au pairs who are part of us. We all work hard and love to play and relax with each other.
