Job Description
Household Management
•Oversee the day-to-day management of the household
•Ensure the house is always maintained to a high standard
•Prepare the property prior to the owner’s or guests’ arrival
Cleaning & Housekeeping
•Full house cleaning and upkeep
•Laundry and ironing
•Linen and wardrobe management
•Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
Inventory & Supplies
•Manage household supplies
•Grocery shopping and stocking of the home before arrivals
•Organize household items and storage
Hospitality
•Welcome owners and guests
•Prepare light meals or breakfast when required
•Ensure a comfortable stay for visiting family and guests
Administration
•Coordinate service providers when required
•Report maintenance issues to the employer
•Manage deliveries and household scheduling
Property Maintenance
•General maintenance and repairs around the property
•Basic carpentry work and handyman tasks
•Inspect property systems regularly
Gardening & Landscaping
•Maintain garden and landscaping
Lawn mowing, trimming, irrigation maintenance
•Care for trees, plants, and outdoor areas
Olive Trees & Land Care
•Monitor and care for the olive trees on the property
•Ensure proper watering and basic upkeep of the olive grove
•Coordinate with local professionals when needed for pruning or harvesting
Animal Care
•Check and care for the chickens on the property
•Ensure they are fed and have water
•Maintain cleanliness and safety of the chicken coop
•Collect eggs when required
Pool Maintenance
•Maintain and clean swimming pool
•Monitor filtration systems and chemical levels
Security
•Ensure the property remains secure
•Monitor gates, alarms, and access points
Outdoor Maintenance
•Maintain terraces, driveways, and outdoor furniture
•Manage tools and maintenance equipment
Additional Tasks
•Assist with setting up outdoor areas before guests arrive
•Handle occasional errands or property-related purchases
The Couple Should:
•Have previous experience working together in private households, villas, or estates
•Be trustworthy, organized, and proactive
•Speak basic English (Spanish is a strong advantage)
•Be comfortable living in a quiet countryside environment
•Have EU work authorization or legal eligibility to work in Spain
•Possess basic technical and handyman skills
•Be discreet and respectful of privacy
