The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the residence. The role ensures a hygienic, safe, and comfortable living environment by performing routine cleaning tasks, managing household supplies, and assisting with general household organization.
1. Cleaning and Maintenance
Perform daily cleaning of all rooms including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and hallways.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces.
Dust furniture, fixtures, shelves, and household equipment.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and mirrors.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness including countertops, appliances, and sinks.
2. Laundry and Linen Care
Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes, towels, and bedding.
Change bed linens regularly and maintain proper storage of linens.
Handle delicate fabrics according to care instructions.
3. Organization and Household Upkeep
Organize rooms, closets, cabinets, and storage areas.
Ensure items are kept in their designated places.
Dispose of household waste and ensure proper recycling when applicable.
4. Supply Management
Monitor and report shortages of cleaning supplies and household items.
Ensure cleaning equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition.
Restock essential items such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials.
5. Kitchen Assistance (if required)
Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen organization.
Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment after use.
