Job Title: Housekeeper (Part-Time, Twice Weekly) Location: Nicosia, Cyprus
Two days per week (Thursday and Friday)
Working Hours: [7:30 AM – 11:30 PM, or 13:00-17:00]

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented housekeeper to help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable home environment for a family of three (mother and two school-aged children). The role requires a high standard of cleaning, good time management, and the ability to handle laundry and ironing with care and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
General Cleaning (Each Visit):
• Clean and disinfect two bathrooms/toilets, including sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors, and floor surfaces
• Clean one kitchen, including countertops, stovetop, sink, cupboard exteriors, and floor
• Vacuum and mop floors throughout the house: three bedrooms, one sitting room, one entrance/hallway
• Dust and wipe all surfaces including furniture, baseboards, light switches, and door handles
• Empty and clean bins in all rooms
• Clean interior windows and glass doors when required

Bedrooms (Weekly and As Needed):
• Change and make bed sheets weekly in all three bedrooms
• Dust furniture and vacuum under beds
• Organize wardrobes and drawers if needed (upon request)

Laundry Duties:
• Wash and dry bed linens and towels weekly
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold general laundry
• Handle children’s uniforms with special care (check labels, iron where required)
• Maintain laundry appliances clean and functioning (wipe washer/dryer)

Ironing (Each Visit):
• Iron and neatly fold or hang clothes, including:
• Everyday clothing
• Workwear
• Children’s school uniforms
• Ensure clothing is organized and put away properly

Additional Duties (As Needed):
• Replenish cleaning supplies (notify when low)
• Occasional deep cleaning tasks (e.g., oven, inside cupboards)
• Alert employer of any damages or necessary repairs observed
