Family of Five Seeking Experienced Housekeeper in Albania
About Our Family:?We are a lively family of five – two dedicated parents and three young children (ages 1, 3, and 6) – currently based in Albania. Our family thrives on creating a warm, organized home environment while embracing the joys and challenges of raising small children. We’re seeking a reliable, local housekeeper to help maintain our apartment or short-term accommodation in Albania, allowing us to focus on family time and making memories with our little ones.
Job Responsibilities:
• Thoroughly clean the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and every room in our home, ensuring a spotless and hygienic environment.
• Manage laundry tasks, including washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens for the family.
• Make beds daily, change bed linens, and handle bedding supplies.
• Wash dishes, keep the kitchen organized, and assist with general upkeep to maintain a tidy home.
• Be comfortable around small children (ages 1, 3, and 6), maintaining a child-friendly, safe space – no full-time childcare required, but light tidying related to the kids is expected.
• Assist with general home organization to keep our living space functional and clutter-free.
This is a part-time to full-time position (approximately 20-30 hours/week), based in Albania, with a flexible schedule to accommodate our family’s needs.
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of proven experience in professional housecleaning, with references available.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
• Physically capable of handling cleaning tasks, lifting, and moving items as needed.
• Good with small children: Patient, kind, and able to contribute to a safe, tidy space for our kids.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Albanian or other languages is a plus.
Preferences:
• Non-smoker with a clean background check.
• Experience in hospitality or similar roles is a bonus.
• Preference for eco-friendly cleaning practices (we like natural products when possible).
• A positive, upbeat personality that complements our family’s warm and lively vibe.
