Housekeeping
Firstly, in what concerns the housekeeping itself, she was independent from the word go, simply requesting to know where we kept the cleaning materials and equipment, after which she wasted no time in getting started.
She had a daily routine of making beds and putting the house in order, after which she carried out the dusting, vacuum cleaning, washing floors, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen. She managed the laundry and ironing, all of which was cleared by the end of the week, i.e. every Friday. She went about her duties with quiet diligence and with nil supervision accomplished her tasks.
Loredana additionally removed the weeds from our terraces, re-organized our garage / kitchen / bedclothes / bathroom cabinets, stopped a leak in the shower with the application of silicon, and was always willing to lend herself to the different needs of our home.
Cooking
Loredana makes an excellent “Chicken à la Loredana” and will otherwise follow any recipe requested of her.
Children
Loredana is particularly good with older children. My son and her got on famously, a balance between humour and support through friendly banter. Our son was sorry to see her leave and tried to convince her to stay.
PERSONAL PROFILE
Loredana is a fine balance in reserve and friendliness. She is discreet and reserved whilst willing to share a joke and an exchange, and is refined in her reading of situations and when to retire.
She is honest to a fault, correct to the extreme, will monitor her own hours to ensure that she fully completes these but, on the other hand, will willingly give of her own time, when needed.
She was generous with the family, remembering birthdays and special occasions.
We have thoroughly enjoyed having Loredana with us.

I consider myself to be reasonable thus very very easy to get along, cheerful, a constant active observer of people around and with an enthusiastic care for everything.
Concerning the live in privacy issue, I will respect the family's private time after working hours and will not intrude unless invited, I also cherish my privacy and I'm always up to something be it reading, enjoying a good cup of tea with a movie or chatting with my folks back home.
My only expectation of the family is that we have a common ground on english language, even if it's minimal.
