I am 62 years old and looking for a new adventure.
I have always been entrepreneurial and enjoy new challenges. I am a Fine Arts graduate, highly organised, presentable, good sense of humour and an interest in culture and current affairs. I have worked in the following fields: Most recently I owned and managed my own restaurant/coffee shop/ gift shop and guest apartments (8 years).As the sole manager I was responsible for all staff, accounts, buying, function planning,advertising and marketing materials and production, menu planning, cooking, training staff in all aspects, barista, front of house, and a lot of cleaning!
Prior to that I was a house mother for foreign students in my own house. Previously I worked in my own ceramic business for 8 year, in a ladies CMT factory as an assistant production manager & quality controller.Prior to having my 2 daughters I worked in the film industry in art department and as a production manager.I have often had many dual self-created ventures including steel manufacture, ornament casting, costume jewellery, gift card design, clothing ranges, painting etc.etc. So you can see, I enjoy learning new things and mastering
them. I am good at bookkeeping and use Excel, Microsoft Word and Publisher. I enjoy Pilates, reading, listening to music, chess, backgammon, art galleries, walking, travelling, swimming and cooking.
My strengths are my energy, attention to detail, logic and creativity, I work well under stress and think on my feet. I am caring and compassionate. I prefer to be in control and be trusted to make decisions and plans and take responsibility in my work.
