Hello! We are Katherine (American), Rolf (German), C (7) and T (2.5). We have live in Germering, near Munich. We are looking for 20 h/wk childcare in the afternoon. Our kids are being raised bilingually and you can speak either German or English with the kids, as you like. Our youngest daughter, Tessa, loves cuddling, learning to jump, and playing in the sandbox in our backyard. Our older daughter likes dressing up, learning letters and words, crafts that need cutting and gluing, playing make believe (like imaginary games of ice cream shop, ballet school, house, or baby cat school). The caregiver would come to our house at 1:00 four days a week, complete household tasks related to the children, then pick them up from hort and daycare at ~4pm and stay until 6pm. The two love to play together and get along well. Carla will walk home by herself soon. I would like to make a contract for a fixed salary per week for twenty hours of work. I will report the work to the government appropriately and pay taxes. It is a nontrivial task, because both children need someone experienced and loving who can help them manage the transition from school to home.
