My name is Tamarin, I am a hard working and dedicated 23 year old South African, and I would love the opportunity to support your family as an Aupair/tutor/babysitter.

I hold a 2 degrees in Psychology, an undergraduate degree and an honours degree. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour, which I apply in a practical, caring, and age-appropriate way when working with children.

I also have hands-on experience as an au pair and tutor, where I was responsible for managing daily routines, assisting with homework, and creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and take pride in building trusting, positive relationships where they feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to grow.

I would describe myself as patient, attentive, and highly responsible. I am very organised and confident in managing routines such as meal times, homework, bath time, and bedtime, while also making sure children are engaged through play, learning activities, and creativity.

In addition to my childcare experience, my professional background has strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. I am reliable, proactive, and able to handle responsibility with maturity and care.

Health and wellbeing are also very important to me, and I maintain a disciplined lifestyle through regular fitness. I bring that same level of consistency, energy, and responsibility into my work with children.

Most importantly, I understand how important it is for parents to feel at ease when leaving their children in someone else’s care. I aim to provide not just supervision, but a warm, safe, and positive environment where your child feels secure and happy.
