Hello,

I am Ariella, an American mom of four kids living in Aix-en-Provence. I am available for part-time and fill-in work (if your regular nanny needs a sick day on short notice) maximum 3 days a week. I am also a fairly decent cook and can perform basic groceries and tidying house, folding laundry, etc.

I arrived in Europe in 2008 and have been an entrepreneur most of the time, alongside homeschooling my children until 3 years ago. Our family operated a homestead in the Aveyron department of France until we sold it last October, where we operated accommodations and owned a clamping, and prior to that we lived in the Luberon where my children's dad grew up.

My children will all go to school from September, so I am available 2 or 3 days a week while they are at school on a regular basis - or if you need some support on short notice. I am not looking for full-time work, because I have a lot of creative projects that keep me engaged.

Last year, we sold our property in the Aveyron and spent 8 months touring 8 countries on 3 continents. My children's dad has decided to stay in Paraguay and I am returning to France with our children, to live in Aix-en-P. which is close to their grandparents and our extended family.

Over the past year, we did world schooling / homeschooling using American curriculum, but now my oldest child (16) needs to do her BAC so we will stay in Aix for at least the next 2-3 years. I was homeschooled as a teenager, so I have a lot of experience with self-guided study.

My French is okay, but I would prefer to speak English with any family I work for so I don't pass along my French mistakes to your kids!

I am very safety conscious, screen-aware, and I like to do art with children to help them develop their creative brain. My own children enjoy outdoor play, games, singing, arts and crafts, hiking and climbing, cooking, fashion, fitness, health, travel, culture and nature.
