I am seeking employment within Northern San Diego County only. I have an extensive resume in child care (Off and on 18 years experience as either a nanny or a pre-school teacher) and I strongly agree with at home care for children. It truly is the best environment. My daughter is 10 and would be a great playmate during the summer months as I am a single parent.

I know it is hard to trust someone else with your child. I face this myself when I have thought about putting my own child in a daycare. You want the best for your child. You want to know that they are not just being well taken care of, but that they are loved. Allowing a stranger into your home can be difficult, but I am a highly organized person of strong character and good morals.

I am currently in college majoring in Education, have maintained a 4.0 GPA, and can provide transcripts (All my courses are taken online later in the evening so this would not interfere with daytime activities). My availability is Monday through Friday, late mornings (I student teach from 8-10) into the evenings, and occasional weekends/overnights.

The last family I worked for found me through this site, and it was a wonderful 2 1/2 years spent working for them. But the time came when they were no longer in need of a full time nanny. We still visit with each other as we truly have become family.

I am also a highly organized individual who would also enjoy working as a personal assistant if needed.
