Family's Introduction to Au Pair
Dear future au pair,
We are a family of 5! We have 3 little girls: 4 months, 3 years old and 5 years old. It means we are surrounded with unicorns and sparkles! :)
We have recently moved into our house after renovating it with love (and patience…). We live in a small historical village in the countryside, a 25’ drive from Geneva.
After a first and positive experience this Summer, we would like to keep on with the Au pair adventure on a longer period.
I was an au pair myself in Ireland when I was 19 and this taught me a lot on the human, cultural and language side.
We expect you to be part of the family, meaning participating to the daily household tasks and sharing family moments while keeping your own privacy when needed. Of course, being an au pair means caring about the kids: you would help getting them ready in the morning, pick them up from school /nanny, drive them to some activities, play indoor or outdoor, supervise if close to a pool, give them bath and dinner, babysit sometimes and initiate them to your native language and culture !
Little kids require attention, patience and love. We hope you have these 3 ingredients for the recipe :)
